While, to me, Matt Barnes isnt very good at all...doesnt hurt to throw him on a team already good enough to win a title whether they sign him or not

if this is such an inconsequential signing - then why has Barnes constantly been labeled as the "most coveted free agent left" after, of course, all the superstars made their decisions.

this is very bad news to me - Lakers have now gotten the backup point guard they needed, plus added two decent front court players for depth - and why is it that they have the $$$$ to sign Barnes for more than the vet min and we don't ??

i almost don't want to see the Lakers win another title (and tie us) as much as i do want to see the Celts win #18.

........... and btw, i still consider the outcome of game 7 as illegitimate - that banner was stolen from us. 21 - 6.

Lest we forget, Danny doesn't sign the checks.  And even with that said, I don't think he's hardly taking long afternoon naps each day...

We just don't have any money, folks...  Not that Wyc's pockets are empty, but there are certain rules of which we must abide by.  Danny is waiting for guys still looking for jobs come September.  Some of you might not like that, but it is what it is...

The Fakers only used $4m of their MLE on Blake, they used the remaining $1.8m on Barnes... I think the vet min for a guy like Barnes is $1.3m... So yeah. Sucks for us to have no money left.

Any chance they'll trade us Luke Walton?  We really could use a guy like that and the Lakers obviously don't need him now that they have Barnes.

I don't actually think they'd trade with us, but Luke is exactly the kind of player we need (assuming he's healthy).
