Derek Fisher was a dead man walking for most of last season.

80% of rotation playing point guards are superior players to Fisher.

It friggen sucks that he had to have a reincarnation in the fourth quarter of game three in the Finals and hit that friggen three in game 7.  UGH!

My list would be:

Starters -- R.Rondo, D.Rose, J.Kidd, C.Billups, S.Curry, A.Brooks, B.Davis, Jennings, C.Paul, D.Harris, J.Nelson, R.Westbrook, J.Holiday, S.Nash, J.Calderon, J.Wall, T.Evans

Backups -- Hinrich, J.Terry, Beaubois, Lowry, D.Collison, Dragic

Comparable To -- D.West, Lowry, Lawson, Conley, Ridnour (?), Felton, A.Miller, M.Williams, J.Jack

23 players who are clearly superior and 8-9 players who are comparable to Steve Blake.

Good catch. I knew someone was missing. Ahh, I also forgot Tony Parker + George Hill.

26 players who are clearly superior and 8-9 players who are comparable to Steve Blake.

Blake is an average point-guard with above average decision making abilities...but if your backup point guard is average at the point, isn't that a good thing? The Lakers haven't really been able to say that the last couple years. The Celts certainly haven't...hopefully we get more consistency out of Nate next year.
