Hey so I figured this would be a cool thread to have. Post any of your favorite software for PCs or Mac's, also apps for phones or whatnot.

I was trying to find some type of application for my Mac to categorize my DVD collection today and found this awesome application called Delicious Library. It's a media cataloguing app that allows you to manage collections of books, movies, CDs, video games, toys, tools, gadgets, and apparel. It looks really cool and is very user friendly. I added my 138 DVDs today and they put them on a shelf like you would at home. Once you add an item, you can view it's info/details/reviews etc. Here's what mine ended up looking like from the furthest zoomed out:

The coolest thing about this application is probably the barcode scanner it has. If you have a webcam (the iSight on macs) you hold the barcode of whatever item you have and it scans it and immediately recognizes what it is and updates all it's info in your catalogue.

I use Google Chrome as my browser (it's way faster loading pages than Firefox or Explorer), and there's the Google Dictionary extension that you can add.  It's very handy.  Whatever webpage you're reading, if you need to look up a word, you just double click it and the definition appears.  One of the more useful little extensions I've come across.
