Dan gilbert was quoted as saying that the "Cleveland Curse" would "follow LeBron south" during his tirade against LeQuit. Well, he might be right - they just had their 1st injury, at one of the positions they are most vulnerable:

Yeah, but looks pretty minor at this point given that it's mid July.

2-4 weeks in a cast is minor?

Both Miller&Wade can handle the point if it comes down to it.

Given that it's mid July at that the playoffs don't start until mid April, I'd say it's pretty minor.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
This is a good start, though... :)

Certainly of all their summer league players, Chalmers would be one they would least have wanted to get hurt - but I agree in the long run it most likely won't be a huge impact.

Sometimes those "high ankle sprains" can linger for quite awhile - but hey, LeQuit can probably play point better than Miller OR Wade...

My calender says July.  The season doesn't open until Oct.  That's plenty of time to heal.

way to crap on a semi-serious, lighthearted thread, guys.  ::) ;D
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Is it part of the curse of Dan Gilbert if it turns out that Delonte West gave herpes to LeBron's mama?
