Corey Brewer.

Minnesota is loaded with forwards.  They have their first round pick, Wesley Johnson, Martel Webster, Michael Beasley and Brewer.  Someone is the odd man out.  Danny has to convince Kahn that he doesn't need that kid anymore. He's a restricted free agent after the season so maybe they lose him anyway to a team offering more than they want to pay?

Can we use Sheed's contract and a pick to get him?

We can get Hollins + Brewer for Sheed and maybe throw in a pick to sweeten the deal

But just Sheed for Brewer would make me very happy as well.

Someone yesterday started a thread, asking each of us whether we would accept taking on Ramon Sessions' salary if it meant we could also obtain Corey Brewer.

I'm not sure why Minnesota would trade Brewer. He's made great strides over the last season, and is projected to start alongside Martell Webster on the wing. They are certainly not in cost cutting mode right now either.

I like Brewer, I just don't think he's available.

Kahn is in love with PGs, too. Let's trade Nate for one of his wings! Sorry, really dumb joke, but since no one really knows what that tard is doing in MN, you never know!

I doubt that.  Wesley Johnson was the #5 pick.  I'm sure they want him to be the eventual starter. Plus they have Beasley who is also better than Brewer. Brewer is more of a role player.

Brewer is pretty good but if I was going to try to get anyone out of the pit that is the TWolves it'd be Michael Beasley just because I think he's a good player and I feel bad for him cause he's now on that team.

And yeah what is with Kahn's weird obsession with PG's? By this time next year his whole team might be all PG's.

Well they're not going to trade Beasley just after acquiring him.  I really this kid might be better than Ronnie Brewer.

Well no we can't get Beasley anyway... not until at least December I believe... cause of the trade rules but I'm just saying I feel for him and wish he was on a better team.

In a real scenario I would like it if they could pull off a trade to get Brewer and someone else. As long as all we give him is Rasheed and some picks.

Could Danny trade Sheed + Lafayette? Kaaaaaahn loves PG's, right?

then, Minny could send Corey Brewer + Ryan Hollins

or

Minny could send Corey Brewer + the Memphis 2011 first round pick owned by Minny

in both cases the Celtics get a TPE? or is only for single player trades?

it works in the Trade Machine both ways.

that would be nice though, we can have two first rounders and still be in the playoff run...if memphis do bad and minn do bad, we have a potential of having 2 top 10 picks =)...love this idea...

I have an idea.

We write up a note that reads like this:

Quote
Holla Mr. Kahn!,

It’s my Ricky Rubio. I think you should trade Corey Brewer to the Celtics. He doesn’t fit into the team, AND if he’s gone I PROMISE i’ll come over this year and we’ll win a championship.

                                                                         -Future HOF’er
                                                                               Ricky Rubio

PS. That new meal plan will definitely add 30 wins. Your the best!

Then sign it, and send it.

Guaranty this fool calls us right away.

Next years 1st, Sheed and multiple 2nd's for Corey Brewer. DA needs to get this done.

Brewer has the size and length to guard both wing positions. He is a good cutter and he runs the floor well. He is a perfect compliment to Rondo. He isn't a great shooter but he can knock down the open 3 when he gets his feet set. If DA adds this gut to the rotation we're going back to the finals. He is a legitimate backup wing and a perfect role player.

You have to ask yourself one question.. Does it make sense for Minnesota to trade Brewer?

Well, if it does you can bet your house on Khan not trading him.

He'd love to play with KG too.  I remember on draft night he was really excited to play with KG, but then KG was traded to the Celtics.
