Its remarkable (and kinda spooky) that nearly a year ago, Boston sports fans were in the same exact position; heading into a Game 7 of a championship series for all the marbles.

Obviously, all of us hope that things turn out differently than last year but the irony of the situation should be noted.

Those of us who are total Boston sports fans are very, very, very fortunate to find ourselves in situations like this on nearly an annual basis for the past decade.
Been telling my kids this for years!!

Has there ever been a decade of sports excellence spanning all 4 major American sports where one city has been so involved in championships? 4 Superbowls, 2 World series, 2 NBA Finals and a Stanley Cup in 10 years?? Not to mention the drama of the SBs, the 2003 and 2004 and 2008 ALCS, this Cup Finals, last years NBA Finals, and how many 7 game series in the playoffs??

We Boston fans are truly spoiled!!!!

Not to mention a 16-0 regular season, and four trips to the MLS finals by the Revs.

It's amazing that since February 2005, the Boston area could win championships in all four major sports.  Has any city ever done that in a six year span?  My guess would be no.  (New York was close between 1990 and 1996, but the Knicks didn't win a title, only reaching the Finals).

Go Bruins!!

Let's see if they come out aggressive this period instead of coming out Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.-footing around like they did to start the game

Love what the refs have done. They've swallowed the whistles and are allowing the teams to determine, all by themselves, which is the better team.

Wish the NBA could have done this in 2010.

Wow I was watching ESPN or flipping through ESPN and they were saying he was one of the important players today. They said being home would help him and that they would win.
I've never watched hockey, but this game and the series made me interested in hockey.
Hope you guys win.
