Wow. Great deal by Dallas...although its disappointing that is all they could get for Dampier's contract. But to get rid of Carroll, and get Chandler to solidify their front line is a huge.

They have been trying really hard to get all of the top free agent big men, and have missed out, but Dampier may be their man.

I think they are hurting for money, and also wanted to get far enough under the tax line to use the MLE.
