I'll never understand you guys obsession with "puppy" players. Anyhow I'd rather bring in a has-been other than a "never was"

All he needed was to get out from under doc's bad coaching and hatred of rookie PGs ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I know he didn't do much here but he was very young and didn't get the best coaching.  But he's only 24, athletic, and could back up Ray and Paul.

Also very cheap...and sounds like he has matured.

Its cool he at least admitted he was an idiot that made terrible decisions. I think it was an interesting article so we dont need to just hammer the op.

Saw him play in Vegas this past weekend.  He looks no less lost than when he was with us.  Pass.

He does have tremendous upside potential.  If only he didn't suck at basketball.

We could really use a third center....how about someone dig up an article about Jerome Moiso!?

He does nothing that we need.

Only thing he would be good for is Alley Oops in a blow out.

Sorry to say but...even if he came for free I wouldn't take him.

Forget Gerald!

Bring back Rick Pitino!

Pitino is better as an NBA GM, than Gerald is as an NBA Player.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
Found this nugget on RealGM.com - via Andrew Perna, who is covering a number of games this week.  Here's what he had to say about Gerald (July 13):

"Gerald Green was aggressive, but doesn't look long for the NBA. Athleticism alone isn't always enough and he doesn't display much confidence off the court. He isn't going to make the roster of the two-time defending champions, but if he steps up his game he could get a series of 10-day deals with a struggling club."
