I think Minny is getting a steal for Beasley by only giving two second round picks! I think he has a ton of upside and is so far from his potential and he is a athletic freak!
Yes he has problems but for what they are giving up it's well worth the gamble for a #2 overall pick three drafts ago! I do understand that Olowakandi was a past #1 overall pick, so there is no need to bring it up! Besides this kid is already a way better player than the Kandy-Man ever was!

So would you trade for him? I really hope Danny looked into an option here and was shot down because we are in the eastern conference!

Miami needed a clean salary dump partner. I am assuming Sheed's retirement is going to involve a buyout. That buy out would count towards the current salary cap.

Also Miami needs to get past Boston and Orlando. They certainly don't want to help either team get better players.

If I'm Riley, I would rather have Minny's early second round pick (with the no guaranteed contract) than our late first round pick, especially considering that we are competition at the moment in the East.

Of course, this depends upon how far in the future the picks are.

Also, Riley needed to not take salary back. That also limited the teams he would consider.

That's why there is an option to send a 1st and the two 2nd rounders!
