Am I the only one who likes Rasual Butler??

I have seen alot of names flying around but Butler would be great here. The Clips are not going to re-sign him. What if Pierce or Ray go down, who is going to take up their place? Don't know about Josh Howard's knee. Ronnie Brewer would be nice but can he score like Butler? No.

I'd be very happy with Butler, and he'd be a great fit here.  It's just going to be tough to get him here.

Doesn't look like alot of teams are interested in him, so we might get lucky and get'em cheap. Maybe trade Sheed's contract might help

Unlikely, given how much other wings have gotten.

But if so, per Mr. October: Lafayette (.76) & Gaffney (.76) * 125% + 100K = 2 million, so they could be sent to LAC along with cash in a S&T for Butler.

I've like Rasual Butler for the longest. I brought his name up back during last offseason, and then again at the trade deadline, but back then everybody seemed to think I was crazy!

Before he signed with GSW people were talking about getting Dorrell Wright. well
I also said we needed to try and get Dorrell Wright, but people thought I was crazy then also.

All this trade means, is that with Outlaw going to the Clippers....now they dont have a reason to hold onto Rasual Butler.

Butler would be a great fit on this team, he's got more size than TA, he's got a better offensive game than TA, he's smarter than TA, he plays good defense against the elite wing scorers of the league.

Now that Travis oultaw is with the Clippers,plus they still have Al Thornton.. they dont need to keep Rasual Butler, so we should go after him.

Tony Allen and for Dorrell Wright.....or even Tony and JR for Dorrell Wright, that works also

Right now, Dorrell has finally started playing well, and has found his way into the rotation down in Miami, so it will be harder to grab him now, than it would have been during the summer.

Dorrell Wright plays under-control, has a decent mid-range jumper, possesses great athleticism, and upon arrival in Boston, he would immediately become our most athletic player, he is 6'9" (same height as Shelden Williams) I would love to have the height on the perimeter defensively, and he is only 23 years old, and his contract expires after this year.
