Looks like Barbosa and Diaw get to reunite in Toronto as they battle with NY to become Suns East.

I hope this one doesn't happen.

I was looking forward to seeing Ed Davis and Amir Johnson lock down the power forward spot next season for the Raptors.

I don't think you'd have to worry.  I think they'll probably use Diaw exactly as they used Turk: as an oversized 3.  They'll shift Bosh's offensive possession to Diaw and Bargnani and they'll rotate Amir and Ed at the 4 to play defense and rebound in between the softies.

I think he'll play well for them.  He allows them to invert the 3 and 5 roles when Bargnani's on the court.

You can run a bunch of offense through Diaw in the post at the 3 while using Bargs as the entry passer and perimeter threat.
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

I would have preferred to have seen the Raptors continue to play a 4 out 1 in offense. With a load of pick and rolls between Turkoglu and Calderon/Jack.

I thought Amir and Davis could have combined for 20+ppg on 55-60% shooting percentage. Allow the Raptors to continue to post an above average offense despite the loss of Chris Bosh.

I'm not as optimistic about that now.

Sort of a bummer, Barbosa and Diaw were two players I was hoping Danny would target with Sheed's contract.  Diaw was particularly attractive bc he could come off the bench in several roles for the Cs -- and as such would still play 30+ mins.
Celtics fan for life.
