GSW close to signing of Dorell Wright to three-year deal. Wright is true SF so Dubs feel he's priority over matching Morrow offer from NJN

Bad news, another good wing on our wish-list that's no longer available... I really hope we find some wing to spell Paul and Ray. I guess our only way of finding one is to use Sheed's contract now but I'm not sure it will attract a team.

A lot of good choices are slowly slipping away, DA better be having something good up his sleeves.

Danny sure seems to be completely incapable of getting any good help at the back-up wing position.  I realize getting a big has been our #1 priority the last 2 off-seasons, but I am really peeved at his inability to find and good back-up for Pierce.  Its as if Danny thinks he's just going to luck into another Posey-type player at the last minute again.

Dorrell Wright is terrible.

Disagree, Dorrell Wright is following the same career arc as Tony Allen. Flash, hurt, flash, hurt, flash, hurt.

For everyone saying Danny to hurry... Relax he's looking at all of the options right now and knows what to do.

Danny will do what is best for the team.

Except he's nowhere near the defender.

How exactly were we supposed to sign Wright with no MLE or LLE?
2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups
SG: Kobe Bryant
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Pau Gasol
C: Yao Ming

Well, that remains to be seen.

But the larger point is one I completely agree with -- we shouldn't be too concerned about FAs.  With no MLE or LLE to use, it is unlikely that we'll be able to sign one.  I know there is the option of a S&T, but that implies we'll have to send something of value back (in addition to Sheed's contract).  What is much more likely is that Danny will use Sheed's contract to trade for a player who is already signed to give some cap relief to a struggling team.  Think Sheed to Philly for Nocioni + Jodie Meeks/Jason Smith/draft pick

Is Marquis Daniels still a consideration?

Warriors making a couple good moves already this summer... Lee and Wright are both good pickups...However, since they are the warriors I dont suspect much good to come out of it.

Strange signing for Golden State.

Wouldn't have pictured Don Nelson being interested in such a passive (albeit highly talented) player.
