Heat now have 8 million with the big 3, plus Anthony, plus Chalmers.
According to @LaryCoon's:
With big 3, $44,054,389 in committed contracts,
$1,544,172 on James Jones' guarantee
$1,060,120 on Anthony's qualifying offer,
$3,315,228 in roster charges,
total is $49,973,909, leaving $8,070,091.
They can sign M. Miller at 4.9 starting point for a $30 million deal. So they have 3.1 left to play with. I think they could get Fisher or J. Williams for the min. to backup Chalmers and live with that. That leaves them in need of a center and a backup wing (assuming they are willing to play Lebron at PF.) I think they'll go basement hunting on the wing and sign a vet min guy there, and then get a decent center for the rest of the cap space, and maybe a min guy too. Let's say Kwame and B. Miller.
B. Miller / Kwame
Bosh / Lebron
Lebron / Miller
Wade / Miller
Chalmers / Fisher
That team can win a title.
Update:
Per @samickFanHouse, Miller will get 5 years, $25M. That starts at $4.3M, leaving $3.8 million for other signings.
Doesn't change my analysis, just makes its more likely they get two big centers that are solid. I'd go for B. Miller and (Kwame or Wallace) - since they bring different things to the table.
