Good deal for Chicago.  They are going to be much improved next year with the Boozer and Korver signings.

I guess MIA has Mike Miller sewn up. Otherwise, I would have thought Chicago would make him a big offer.

PG: Rose
SG: Korver
SF: Deng
PF: Boozer
C:  Noah

Good enough to win the Central, I guess.

Doggone it, I was hoping we could work out something for him. He is a great shooter. We need another great 3 point shooter from the bench, IMO.

Gibson, Johnson. Interesting start to an interesting team. They will need better depth and definitely some scoring opunch off the bench to compete in the East but a very nice start to a team that will be good for years to come.

Don't know if they will ever be championship good, but definitely could be ECF loser good.

I think Chicago is over-rated going into next season. Just don't see them a top 4 team in East. Still see Boston, Miami, Orlando and ATL ahead of them.

Korver is an ok shooter, but he doesn't bring much else to the table. I am not sure he's starting SG material.

Still, the signing is solid one way or the other. I do think they need more help, though.

Ughh...

That would've been a decent signing....3-4 years ago.   ::)

If he's Chicago's starting shooting guard, they're in trouble.

He's actually one of the best pure shooters in the league. almost 55% from 3, 50% fg, & 80% ft shooter...In 52 games, which is real problem. In NBA terms that's close to automatic. John Stockton had one of the high est fg% among any guard ever at 54%--he's not that far off. Though I'm sure Stockton took more than 6-7 shots a game. Maybe his defense is so poor he can't stay on the floor? It's certainly not an offense problem, and he's a solid fit for Chicago if they want a spot up shooter to stretch the floor. They got two or three guys on that team that will command double teams, so Korver should have plenty of open looks.

Well, their not their yet.

But they still have 14 million left to spend on bench and role players if korver starts. And they already have Taj Gibson off the bench.

Good move because it fits their lineup needs.

Chicago's success will depend upon how Rose develops.

Would the Bull notice if we give them Ashton and keep Korver for ourselves?
