Random question unrelated to anything....

What happens to 2011 draft picks if there is a lockout and there is no draft?  I was reading some article about how screwed the Knicks are and it casually mentioned that they have no 2012 1st rounder... and in 2011 the Rockets have the rights to swap picks with them.  What if a team collected a bunch of picks in 2011 and there wasn't even a draft?

The draft happens before the CBA ends. The CBA ends July 1st.

So there will be a draft regardless of any potential lockout.

I'm not 100% certain but I'm fairly sure of this.

while we're talking about the lockout.  what are the chances of it happening & would a shorter season help us?

You're right.  Same thing happened during the NHL lockout, if I remember correctly.
