I am newbie here so let’s hope this goes well haha. This is my idea of what the full 15 man roster should look like.

Starters:
Rajon Rondo/Nate Robinson/Avery Bradley
Ray Allen/Tony Allen
Paul Pierce/Mike Miller
Kevin Garnett/Glenn Davis
Kendrick Perkins/Jermaine O’Neil/ Kwame Brown

Reserves:
Dominic McGuire, Luke Harangody, Semih Erden

First off we need Miller. We lacked scoring off of the bench and it came back to kill us. Signing Miller will give the C’s a scoring “pop” off of the bench other then Nate. He can score at small forward or shooting guard unlike Antony Morrow and allow TA to play at his natural position. If you can’t grab him then go after Josh Howard. It’s a big gamble but could pay off if Josh leaves the weed alone. I would then re-sign Nate and bring “Donkey” back to Boston. He played well and seemed to be fitting in more and more as the playoffs continued. The way I see it his production can only get better with Boston’s system now under his belt. Plus Avery Bradley is not a point guard and he’s an unproven rookie. Not a good sign if you’re a contending team. Kwame Brown is a cheap body that can rebound and defend. His offensive is horrible but I’ll take that as long as he crashes the glass.

With this roster you have a bench that can play on its own. If Nate is being abused by an opponent’s guards offensive you can throw Bradley a bone and put him in that game. Having TA and Bradley could lock guards down around the league. If the bench can give the starters rest then this team is a big threat. I would love to pick up unrestricted free agent Dominic McGuire. He’s played in the NBA and has the ability to defend, something coveted by the Celtics. Or Rasual Butler f he’s willing to not play and dress n street clothes. If Bradley is not who we think he is his first year you can easily thrown McGuire in the rotation. This guy may not have the sexiest name among other free agents out there, but can make a impact using only garbage minutes. Harangody and Semih Erden would fill out the rest of the reserves. The only thing left to ponder would be Sheed and his retirement. With the signing of JO there’s no need for a big and Allen takes up the guard position. If there is a better forward then Miller or you’re willing to trade BBD, then go of it. I would trade Wallace to a team for a first round draft pick. This could help us in the future with our roster looking older by the minute. Or just keep the cash for yourself. Now I feel this is a championship caliber team.

What do you guys think though?

Seems like Miller is going to the Heat...thank to the ever-so-genius Kahn.

Well he of all player could sit on the end of the bench and be content.

Now wth Mller going its time to look into other wings. Any other ideas for a good wing player?

Maybe trade for Jamario Moon? He's a good forward and defender.

Miller is out.

I wouldn't mind a Bogans at the vet min at this point.  He can defend like TA but instead of slashing, he can hit the outside shot.

I think Avery is going to be more of a backup SG. But that’s basically it... minus whatever backup wing we go after.

Rondo/Robinson
Ray/TA/Bradley
Paul/???
KG/BBD/Harangody
Perkins/JO/Kwame

  • Doc could learn a thing or two from Norman Dale
In place of Miller, I'd love to see Rasual Butler somehow.

I like the rest of the team.  Very solid.  If we can't re-sign Nate, I'd pursue Earl Watson.

We need someone that can get to the FT Line and knock them down...a physical slasher Al Thorton or Corey Maggette type...Sam Young but better...Jeff Green ??

We're assuming Nate re-signs.

On RealGM Danny said he wanted TA & Nate back. TA supposedly has a deal. Any news on Nate? If we don't sign him then we need add backup PG to the list.

Yes....get Nate back in here and give him some minutes....I'm looking forward to seeing a more rested Rondo finishing off games stronger.....(stop the Ironman minutes thing!)

I think people are over-rating Harangody.  I rather bring back Scal for a vet min contract than Harangody.  He may not be a young guy with potential but as a bench guy we know he fits the system and understands his role.  Other than that re-sign Nate and find a way to get Mike Miller and I am happy.

Wish we could have Miller too but looks like he's signing with Miami.

Where do the Heat get the cap space to sign Miller?

I'm not a "Cap-ologist" by any means. Apparently trading Beasley opened it up.
