Any fans of '80's basketball (and the KY Wildcats) will remember "Dinner Bell" Mel Turpin...  He committed suicide this week at the age of 49.  I remember him fondly as a member of the Cavs.  Hated to read this...

Makes me think of Donny Moore.  It's sometimes too easy for people to be cruel about 'public figures'.

Makes me think of Donny Moore.  It's sometimes too easy for people to be cruel about 'public figures'.

Yeah, the author just had to get a few "jabs" in, huh?  I remember watching him in college - the guy could play.
