The way this "decision" crud is being presented is like the only person who knows where Lebrion is going is HIM . Even outside of espn it seems this way. That's B.S. right? I was wondering what you guys thought. He's surprising the WINNING team ,as well? Man, the more time that goes by the creuler it seems against Cleveland. Even if he stays it's not nice teasing them that you might leave. It's all so very WRONG.

I think all the teams involved (Mia, NY, LA, NJ, Chi, Clev. etc.) know. They may have had to sign something saying that they wouldn't talk about the decision until lebron does.

Ok. But why would other teams sign something like that?

I dont see why one or any of them would have to know.  It's not like tonights the deadline to sign somewhere

Will it be espn reporters ONLY at this event? Would'nt a cleveland reporter look to hammer Lebron? It seems if we were in a normal fricking universe you could have like 3 reporters in a row with questioning the class of this media frenzy he's created,is it a slap or at the very least insensitive to Cleveland etc.

It's being presented as the LeBron lottery. I'm with you on this. Only a guy with a big fat ego would go around and interview with several teams and tell them he'll think about their offers, only to announce his decision on national TV. No one among the NBA's 50 best players did anything like this. Not Jordan, not Kobe, Magic, Bird...and so on. And yet here he is, acting like he's the greatest of all time. I would gladly take Kevin Durant over him on any given day.

I'd rather have LeBron even with his ego, but I sure as hell wouldn't mind Durant.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
CLE is broadcasting the decision on outdoor flat screens around the city--no wonder Bron is doing it from CT! If he bailed on them in CLE he might not make it out alive! What an egocentric publicity Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.. I hope he never wins a championship.

There is no way that they all know and not have it leak out.  I don't think any team has been informed, including the team he is going with.

If he told a team word would get out.

I think he should just spin a wheel and go where it says. 50% of whe wheel would say "Heat" with 30% for NY and 18% for the Bulls, with a microscopically thin area that says Cleveland.

What I think we can conclude with some certainty is that it won't be a dark horse team (like Dallas), as any team without sufficient cap space today would have to have prearranged some kind of S&T deal.  Getting those kinds of deal put in place, someone would know, someone would be talking.

I agree with the OP,regardless of what he does from this point on,it stinks in how he went about the whole thing. Its a lot of drama for something that should be real simple, just say where you plan to play next season.I think he has made some enemies in Ohio even if he stays.TP
