Wings still on the board for us either by trade or signing outright.  Who do you like?

Childress (only by trade)
Marvin Williams (same as above)
T-Mac (unlikely for the minimum)
Josh Howard (not so sure)
Battier (Houston still may need the cap room to sign miller, loaded at the wing salary dump trade for Rasheed's contract?)
Rasual Butler (might could get more than the minimum but still in play for the Celtics I think)
Dorell Wright (minimum?)
James Jones  (minimum?)
Antoine Wright (minimum?)

Marvin Williams for Sheed's contract is my favorite on this list
followed by

Trade for Battier
or Dorrell Wright at the Minimum or T-Mac at the minimum

I think Battier is easily the best fit for the team, so he would be my first choice. I don't particularly like Marvin Williams as a player, but if he could be had for Wallace's contract it would still be a steal.

Something that not many posters have been talking about: I like Lou Amundson for this team. He is not your typical wing (I think the Suns even played him at center at times), but he is versatile, plays with a lot of heart, and accepts his role perfectly. If he could be had for the minimum, which may be a stretch, I would be ecstatic.

Wait I forgot Mike Miller and Ryan Gomes, but I'm not going to put Beasley on my list because I don't want to help out the Heat to get LeBron.

I put Miller under Battier and over Morrow.  Gomes is on par with Howard because Gomes is more of a safe bet, but Howard has more potential.

Again these are all guys I would like for Sheeds contract that could be had, some more than others.

IMO Morrow and Howard are the most likely.

  • Another undersized Celtic...
Josh Howard would be interesting, Mike Miller is one of the best guys out there right now and will probably go to Chicago or NY, don't you think?

Or Miami if they don't get LBJ.

I think Mike Miller is priced out of our range so I left him off as I think he'll join the Heat or Knicks in the next 48 hours.

I forgot Al Harrington earlier but I put him in the unlikely category (too much price for us) but I'd like him just under Battier and ahead of Dorrell Wright and McGrady

Miller wouldn't be to much if we used him in a sign and trade with Sheeds contract?  I don't even know if that is possible lol.

Yeah, this list looks good. If the C's are going to add a swingman scorer, its got to be a someone who can make a bigger impact than Tony Allen. Otherwise we might as well keep playing Tony those 2/3 minutes.

I want to get one of those while keeping Tony which I think is possible .
