Obviously I'm not cap expert but how much money is left for other free agents?

Rondo - 11
Ray - 10

Unless they renounced their rights to all free agents (PP/Ray etc), they were never under the cap.

Since we're over the cap,  all we have is the MLE ($5.7 million) to spend on the open market.

However, we do have some assets to bring in players such as Sheed's contract, veteran minimum offers and sign & trades that involve our players  who expired after the 2010 season (Tony Allen, Scal and so on).

From another thread, folks said the celtics have the MLE and vet minimum. Plus they can use rasheed's contract.

About the only new hopeful item is that with the savings from pierce and the new higher cap, the owners may be more willing to spend the MLE and vet minimum.

Correct me if I am wrong please.
