The same guy KG was seen throwing elbows at and who called PP and the gang a bunch of no talent actresses? The same guy who disappeared in the postseason and is known for putting the "me" in the word "team"? Now suddenly he's the answer to all our problems.

Am I the only one who thinks there might be some serious chemistry issues if this thug comes to play for Boston?

If I recall correctly, he and Pierce are very good friends, so I don't think there would be chemistry issues. There would, however, be some on-the-court issues, as he has looked awful for at least two years now.

JO has played awful but with his limited role off the bench could give us solid production. maybe even more than sheed although i would still rather have him in the playoffs than JO

Wasn't that Q-Rich?

Yes. Jermaine O’Neal wouldn’t say anything after his 20% FG%. Players go throughout streaks, and it was easy to key in against JO when he was the only big on the whole team. O’Neal would be moving from a role as the Number 2 Man, to the Number 5 Man.

I'm pretty sure we bashed Lebron and Kobe too.  It doesn't mean we wouldn't want them on the C's.  Actually, I'd probably still hate Kobe.

That's exactly it.  And by the time Danny gets done this summer and Perk gets back, he may be something closer to Number 6 or 7 man.

He isn't a superstar anymore, but come playoff time we should have a center on the bench who could start for a number of NBA teams (whether that's Perk or O'Neal).  That's a good thing.

He's like Blount: love to have, hate to play against with. Sorry I'm just taking a crap.

Yes, but for the right price and in the right role, I've got no problem with JO on the Celtics.
Celtics fan for life.
