Harangody, Lafayette, and Erden are locks in my opinion. I also think Gaffney, Carroll, and either Parakhouski or Kravstov will also be invited. Janning and Sims looked really good today, but it may have been too late. Janning might get the nod over Carroll, but I think Carroll is that pure shooter that we need to take a look at. Parakhouski and Kravstov both looked raw, but Parakhouski has a nose for the ball and can really rebound. And he has some upside since he's only played basketball for 5 years. Either 1 of those guys could make a decent 3rd center behind the free agent we grab(Miller or Shaq) and Erden until Perk comes back.

I have a question about Summer League, and I am not sure where to put it.  Have any (or many) D League players been invited to play?  I started watching the Red Claws a little last year, but don't remember any of the players names...

I don't think anybody on that squad is a "lock," but harangody is the closest thing to it. Erden, I'm not so sure. Is his contract guaranteed? He looks like a stiff to me, I can't get a good read on what Danny sees, at least not yet. Everyone looked pretty good today, but it's the summer league, put them against the Nets or TWolves and they get smoked by 45 points.

Erden's terrible. Haragody has a skill, and both Janning and Sims looked really nice today. Both of those guys have a skill as well. If Gaffney's healthy he should get the change to prove his defense on Pierce in camp.

Erden supposedly is battling a bad back which is probably why he looks stiff.

That, or the fact that he has no skills whatsoever....

If it means anything they said that Janning was scheduled to leave for the Vegas Summer League after today's game and Danny asked him to stay.

That's a good move I'd say.  I don't know if Jannning is a rotation guy but he really impressed me today. He has decent size for a guard.  He's more of a combo guard than a point but to me he seemed  much more in control than Carrol or Lafayette have been and is a pretty solid athlete as well.

Danny also said he broke the 3 minute conditioning drill record on the broadcast so I think its a good move to try and get him locked up here for a training camp invite if that is the case.
