During yesterday's game, the announcers mentioned that Both Lafeyette and Gaffney were voted full shares....any link to that info?

They said that it showed the respect the veterans had for them

Probably shows that the vets have an ungodly amount of money already and realize that this is these kids one shot at making any playing basketball.

Either way, it is really nice of the team to do this. Hopefully the kids won't "walker" their money.

By the, just curious , but exactly how much was a playoff share?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think its more about the UBUNTU concept (team first) than anything else.

I found a site (DaLockerRoom.com) that said the losing Finals team gets $1,408,168.

That is one SWEET payday for the 14th and 15th guy on the bench.  Now we also know why Finley demanded he be released by the spurs.  Har har.

I think the team can vote shares (or partial shares) to anyone they feel deserves thanks for their success, coaches to ball boys.  Not sure about that, but just tossing it out there...
