He is broadcasting from Akron... No way he announces he is going to NY, NJ or Miami from Akron.

Done deal.

Um, so where should he hold it?

If he holds it in NYC, Newark, Chicago, or Miami, there's no point in even having an announcement, because it would be obvious.

He is doing it in his hometown, which happens to be in the same state as the Cavs.

It's not like he's announcing it from the Quicken Loans Arena.

With the apparent Wade-Bosh team up in Miami, where does Lebron end up now? NY with Amare perhaps? Or does he stay put in Cleveland?

He stays in Cleveland, I bet he always thought he was going to stay there unless blown away by another situation. He drew things out this long for two reasons. 1. He wanted to see if a 3 max player situation developed. 2. He loves all the attention he's getting.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I hope he does stay there. The team around him is flawed and not getting better.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Regardless of whether that's an indicator, I hope he does.  Actually at this point, I'd be with him going anywhere but Miami.  As long as that doesn't happen, no super power emerges and the C's can have a chance next year and beyond.

1. That door kindaaa just opened, if the Heat move Beasley.

2. If he really likes the attention, New York can give him that 365 days a year.

I agree with you, that may be best for the C's. They have proven they can beat them, Cavs aren't getting any better.

Chicago could still trump Miami.

I just don't think he wants to play Jordan's shadow.

I bet he has been in contact with his 'free agent summit' buddies, and last night said, "Hey guys, I'm staying"... thus prompting Wade and Bosh to let their intentions be known immediately after.

It's not over 'til it's over - let's see if the Wade/Bosh thing happens - they don't have a starting 5, much less a bench, so things may look different for LeQuit...

I'm sure all the Ohio kids at his camp have been campaigning for him to stay - that might make the difference.

I don't think Lebron has made up his mind yet. I think that Miami is a real possiblity. If he wants to win championships above all else, that is where he will probably go. Especially if Riley commits to coaching the team again.

If the Wade/Bosh report is correct, I doubt Lebron is staying in Cleveland. They can't bring him any support since Amare is in NYC, Bosh in Miami and Boozer would never come to Cleveland.

My guess is he's going to either NYC or Chicago. in NYC he joins Amare and enjoys the many benefits the city has to offer. In Chicago he has to wait one more year for them to capitalize on next year's free agent class.

My guess - 90% NYC, 10% Chicago.

I don't see him coming to Miami. That's Wade's town and Lebron will not leave his own town behind unless he can go somewhere where he will be "king"

If he stays in Cleveland then this whole press conference thing will be pretty ridiculous.  It's a big deal if he leaves, not a big deal if he stays, unless you're from Cleveland.  If he stays I'll lose a lot of respect for the guy.

I'm hoping he goes to Chicago and they also sign Haywood.  That would be a solid starting 5.  It would suck for the C's but would be a fun team to watch.
