Think I just heard on ESPN radio that Wade is going back to South Beach with Chris Bosh.

Not surprised.

We'll see just how good Wade can be with a quality big man again.

Overall, I think this is relatively good for the Celtics. Those two on the Bulls were a worst case scenario.

The Heat got better, but are they contenders? I don't believe so. Their third best player is a PF too, so they probably need to move Beasley now.

I guess wherever Lebron goes will be the contender with Boston and Orlando. As a New Yorker and NBA fan, I would like him come to the Knicks, great for the city and the league. We will know in about 38 hours.

Wade and Bosh to Miami. Not a big surprise. LeBron will probably stay with cavs. Ray Allen might go to Miami. just my opinion there.

So it looks like the big loser of free agency seem to be the New Jersey Nets, who have tons of cap space and will end up with ... nobody? Richard Jefferson and Carlos Boozer?

The Nets don't have to spend it all.

They could easily get David Lee and save cap space.

I suppose this means LeBron is in all likely hood going to re-sign with Cleveland.  There is a possible slim chance he could go to the Knicks still though.

Considering Bosh was rumored to be following LeBron wherever he went, except for Cleveland, the only reason I can see Bosh going to Miami with Wade is that Lebron is going to either the Cavs or Knicks.  Bosh has no desire to go to Cleveland, and there is no room for Bosh in NY with Amare already signed there.

Interesting, the Heat still has a lot of work to do to become a contender but, although I don't want to see our competition improve, I'm glad to see that D Wade got some help, the guy deserves to play on a good team.

However, I'm starting to wonder if the Bulls are not going to become the loosers of this free agency class... I think LeBron will join NY now.

As someone who lives in New York, but doesn't consider himself a New Yorker, I'd prefer seeing LBJ go to the Nets over the Knicks.  I think that'd be a great move for LBJ, the NBA, Brooklyn, and of course the Cs (ie: much better than if LBJ stays in Cleveland or goes to Chicago).
Celtics fan for life.

The more I think about it, the better this sounds.  If LeBron goes to the Knicks or stays in Cleveland, I think this makes us just as capable as any team to get out of the east.  The one worry I had was Chicago.  It seems Chicago is going to be the team left out now.

Even with Wade and Bosh in Miami, and possibly LeBron and Amare in NY (or LeBron back in Cleveland), it will probably take a couple of years for any of those teams to aasemble the requsite supporting casts to be true contenders.

Stephen A Smith still thinks Lebron is going to Miami and that Bosh and Wade announced today so that Lebron could look the people of Cleveland in the eye and say, I'm leaving because I want to win and the best chance for me to win is going to Miami with Wade and Bosh.
