It was already ridiculous to see how "courted" he was but now... wow, this is beyond ridiculous, it's pathetic. Who does he think he is? Can't he announce his decision like everyone else? No, of course, the guy deserves his own 1 hour special on TV! ::)

hmmmm, 9pm on Thursday?
I think that's when The Office is on NBC, so I'll probably miss the Bron Fest.

Yeah I won't be watching it.

I do agree that since he's holding this "event" in Akron he's likely to stay in Cleveland.

Loving the tags on this thread!

Every other sports star in the world should be thanking Mr James coz everything egotistical they do from here on in is okay - "At least it's not as bad as the time LeBron James had a one hour special"!

Just throwing this out there .. Brón is the Irish word for Sadness ... and Le is the French word for The .. just throwing it out there, that's all  ;)
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Even though Cleveland failed (so far) to get rid of Delonte West?  I guess they have until the season starts to get it done.

He's definitely staying. As messed up as Lebron is, even he knows it would be in bad taste to stiff cleveland at the end of a 1 hour special. He's staying. I'll give him credit for staying loyal. His team stinks.

I dont think he is staying at all. After all of this speculation he decides to televise the decision via a one hour special....just to say nothing is changing. I dont buy it.

He is going to the Knicks.

you know, if d-wade wanted to hold a scheduled press conference to announce his decision, i'm ok with it, because at least he has a ring.  king james is a joke and should have the king title taken away until he wins something!

I think this means he is going somewhere else.  He has big news and and wants to present in a big way.

He is just milking it for all its worth. Bosh going to Miami is the tell tale sign. Bosh wanted to play with LBJ. But NOT in Cleavland.

This guy gets more media attention than POTUS. And he has yet to win an NBA title, and I doubt seriously that he will while in Cleavland. HE may be the Patrick Ewing of this generation.

I'm guessing he joins Amare in NY and they both try to recruit a  veteran guard (nash, tony parker) to join them and form their own "big 3". On a lighter side, it's great that the news of Bosh joining Wade in Miami came out before Lebron's TV special. It now kinda makes his announcement anti-climactic.

But does Lebron want to be part of a "Big 3".  He's not a selfish player on the court, but does he want to share all the credit with 2 other stars?  Something tells me "the King" doesn't want to be on equal footing.  Maybe Bosh sensed that.

They may as well go ahead put the cherry on top of the soft serve sundae that the free agent coverage has been.  It's just so silly.
