The press conference will be from Akron, do you guys seriously think he will decide to join another team and break all those Cav fans hearts by announcing on national television that he won't be returning to the Cavs?

And on that note, if Lebron infact did say in his hometown that he's going to another team, he would forever have my respect, until he ragequits the stadium like a baby after his new team takes an early exit, like he did against the Magic.  :D

Actually this could be entertaining.  Just do it like they do the March Madness selection shows.  You know how they have the cameras on the teams sitting in the locker rooms waiting for the announcements, well do the same thing but have a camera in the executives office.  I would definitely want to watch that.  I can see the look on Dolan's face now...

And the teams competing for LeBron will probably invite their fans to arena to watch the show.  C'mon now, wouldn't you love to see the look on the faces of thousands of Knicks fans when LeBron says he's signing somewhere else?

This could actually be entertaining.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I still think he is going to NJ/Brooklyn.  Actually in this order.

1)NJ/Brooklyn
2)Cavs
3)Bulls (he shouldn't feel safe saying he's going to chi-town anywhere in Ohio)

  • You know my methods, Watson.
D. Wade to be announcing his decision on Versus?

What a joke.  Can't even begin to describe the nuances of how ridiculous this is.

Suffice to say, this is the sort of thing you'd see in a satire.

espn posters having a field day with this

Idiocracy is alive and well. It won't be long before we start watering our crops with gatorade and getting our college degrees froms Costco. It's amazing what dunking a basketball will get you.

Lebron is going to announce it was actually him in the video and not R. Kelly after all

I think the worst part of this whole 60 minute special is.....we may have to listen to Stuart Scott for the whole hour.

They should have reps from the 6 teams he met with and every 10 mins he eliminates one bachelor style....?
------------------ --------------
Can you imagine Prokhorov going all Ivan Drago after Lebron eliminates the Nets first?

If the conference is in Ohio and LeBron has bodyguards, you know what that means.

sadly the Mike Brown "where will i go?" press conference hasn't generated the same buzz and will be shown on the oxygen network.

i like how espn FEATURES the few good comments about this story!!! WAY TO LET THE TRUTH BE KNOWN ESPN

So are Lebron and his ego signing in the same city or are they separating because one city is too small to hold them both?

wade and bosh should show him up by announcing they are going to Chicago 30 mins before lebron. lebron is great, but his ego could slap me from 1500 miles away..

All the hysteria aside, I really believe that Lebron will stay in CLE, and Bosh will join him.

ESPN gives a scenario of Bosh to CLE and Sideshow or Hickson, D West and maybe a future pick to TOR?

This scenario, of course, doesn't make CLE any more frightening to me.

Okkkkk.. I have no idea what to say to this. I have never wanted a player to just disappear so badly.

Anyway, go ahead and stay in Cleveland LeBron. Celtics will want another second round bye next season.

I think this is fantastic.  I always thought big name free agents should announce their choice with press conferences like they do in college with the hats.  Where this guy lands might not matter much to us, but there are millions of fans who are invested in his decision. this only adds to the excitement. plus, its for a good cause.

With this news he is ABSOLUTELY staying in Cleveland. This press conference took all the steam out of him signing with another team with the press conference taking place in cleveland. They would kill him before he left the building for torturing his home fans if he were to choose another team. I think he picks up the hat of the team he truly thought about going to if he left Cleveland, then puts it on his gead and Says "It doesn't fit" and then proceeds to pick up the Cleveland hat while his fans ERRUPTS! There is go to be a little teasing involved to create a stir and build drama and suspense! Why else would he put it on television?
