I have no words. I can only laugh in disbelief

Quote
LeBron James is planning to announce the team with which he will sign during a one-hour special on ESPN Thursday night, ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard has learned through independent sources.

ESPN would only confirm that active discussions for the special are ongoing. But sources tell Broussard that representatives for James contacted the network, proposing that James makes his announcement during a 9 p.m. ET special.

Those sources said that James' representatives requested they be allowed to sell sponsorship for the one-hour special, with the proceeds going to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, and that ESPN agreed to the proposal but had not been told what James has decided.

The NBA's most prized free agent opened a Twitter account on Tuesday and posted his first message on the social networking site. While he provided no information about his future plans, at least he offered something as the NBA awaits the decision on where he'll play next.

"Hello World, the Real King James is in the Building," said the tweet on the kingjames feed, which by 9 p.m. ET had more than 167,000 followers.

Both James and ESPN ought to be ashamed of themselves. I will NOT be watching.

This is so sad that it is giving me a good laugh.

Seriously 1 hour to announce which team he will sign with?

And I think it is quiet obvious that he is sticking with the Cavs (so much for all the dream-team hype and ' i don't care about the money...it's all about winning a championship'.

Anyways the charity angle is the only reason am not being too harsh on this, but I cannot wait for all this Lebron talk to end on Thursday.

The good news about this is the fact that by televising his decision he might be hinting at leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers, otherwise why would he waste everyone's time, lol.

Regardless of which team he ends up signing with I still hope the Celtics do better than he does next season. That, and we steal Shaquille O'Neill from the Cavaliers this summer. A man can dream, can't he??

Geez Louise, this is funny.  I knew lebron is in love with himself, but this is laugable. Ha, ha, ha.  Good luck to him and I hope the scouts get as much loot as lebron makes.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think this means he is going somewhere else.  He has big news and and wants to present in a big way.

After the hour he will probably announce his decision that he needs another weeks to decide his ultimate decision...I mean seriously, this is ridiculous.

The press conference will be from Akron, do you guys seriously think he will decide to join another team and break all those Cav fans hearts by announcing on national television that he won't be returning to the Cavs?

Maybe they'll have the GMs on stage and give them time for a last minute pitch then have Ryan Seacrest "dramatically" eliminate one team every 10 minutes.
