Oliver L, is the story of summer league. After how he performed there is no way nate comes back, cause this kid can drive, shoot, dish. he is a great pass first PG. But if the second unit goes dry he can give you 18 pts. He can control the pace of the game, looks like he knows his position. he can score like nate and is a better shooter, plus he can give you 8 assist. I say DA just got one of those steals like Golden State, and you know how many teams are trying to trade for those kids. He got an asset from nothing.

Oliver, is that you?

Lafayette is not a pass-first PG, and he will be lucky to end up with the career that Nate Robinson has had at this stage of his career.

haha, joking aside I liked what Lafayette showed yesterday (haven't seen today's game yet).

we could certainly do worse for a 3rd PG... problem is it's tough to have a young 3rd PG when Bradley is possibly a 2nd PG.

If we had a guy like Jason Williams, Keyon Dooling, etc as a backup and slot Bradley as 1-2 combo, id' love to keep Lafayette as a hungry, low $ guy

my 2 cents.

I didn't watch a whole lot of the game.  From what I saw, Maynor burned him on D though.   I know, I know - SL game 'n' all caveat.
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

In the 2nd half Maynor did burn him. In the first half he really got up under Maynor and bothered him.

And with Perk out until mid-season, Danny just may need more than the 15 allotted roster spots!

Kid makes bad decisions. He calls his own number way to much.

Agree completely. I think old Oliver doesn't have the tools and has maxed out his potential. What you see is all you will ever get from him, and it's not even close to being enough.

I like Rodney Green better. Far better physical tools and upside. Gotta stop palming it though.

As bad as Lafayette has played to today, Green has definitely played worse. And remember he is going up against a very good defensive PG in Holiday with really no other ball handlers along side of him.

I don't know... I happen to think *INSERT RANDOM SCRUB WHO HAD 15 POINTS IN A SUMMERLEAGUE GAME* better.  I think he shows more potential.  Reminds me a bit of *INSERT RANDOM CELTIC HALL OF FAMER* if he can get it all together.  I'm not trying to say that he will be as good as *INSERT RANDOM CELTIC HALL OF FAMER*... he just reminds me of him.

Agreed.  The only guard that looked like a more or less complete player was Jaycee Carroll.  He played in Europe and has more polish to his game.  He needs to add more muscle and be more aggressive.  Right now on par with Gabe Pruitt   ???
