Also - CLE would absolutely contend with Bosh and Lebron.
Let's say TOR wants to dump a salary - CLE cannot help with Hedo or Jose in a straight trade (maybe a three way though.) Jack is the only other guy they would be dumping, so you get:
West, Parker, JJ, Andy, 1st rounder in 2012 (unprotected) for Bosh S&T, Jack
CLE can then bring Shaq back on a two year deal 10 million per year with a team option on the second year (which gives them time to add some talent via the MLE.) They sign Ray Allen or Mike Miller for MLE deals as well and sign big Z at the minimum:
Shaq / Big Z
Bosh / Jamison / Powe
Lebron / Moon
Allen or Miller / Jack
Mo Williams / Gibson
I'd play a rotation Jamison, Moon, and Jack off the bench. With the Big Z getting minute when Shaq is out and they are not playing small ball. Use Bosh as Center during small ball. They might still be able to turn Jamison + a first into a center with a longish contract (that a team wants out of) at some point at which point in time their rotation becomes more conventional. I wouldn't be surprises to see Powe force his way into the rotation behind Shaq as a defacto Center next to Bosh like he was occasionally with KG.
I'd plan on targeting Perk at full MLE the next year as a perfect compliment to Bosh and Lebron in the front court.
They'd have a five year window for 2012-2017 of a core of: Perk, Bosh, Lebron, Miller, Mo
