We can resign Nate to 125% of his previus deal, so its like 5mil/y and not vet.min. I believe NateRob would be awesome in Nellie land. It would be great to resign him (like 11mil/2years) and trade him and Sheed for resign Morrow (26mil/4years),Randolph and Turiaf. Bring Duhon or Dooling for vet min. to spell Rondo. With MLE sign Mike Miller. Resign TA.

Rondo/Duhon or Dooling/Bradley
R.Allen/Morrow/Bradley/TA
Pierce/Miller/TA
Garnett/Randolph/Davis
Turiaf (Perkins from january)/Davis/Erden

With addition of Morrow and Miller we become a deadly 3pt shooting team. In Rondo, Bradley, Randolph, Davis and Perkins we have solid nucleus to post big3 era.

Did I just read that the Lakers have offered M Miller $30M over 5?

I read that too, but I'm not sure I understand.  The Lakers have Artest and Odom.  Why do they need Miller?

Is Marvin a good shooter? I know he's long and athletic but I feel like Danny will not end the offseason without picking up a good shooter.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Odom is a PF.  Their backup wings were Vujacic, Brown, and Walton.  Miller would be a huge upgrade, and would allow them to take a lot of pressure off Kobe and Artest.

Nov/Dec lineup

PG- Rondo/Nate/Bradley

2G- Ray/ TA

WF- Pierce/Williams

PF- KG/ BBD/ Marvin can help

C- Haywood / Vet min. or Shelden

I would absolutely love this lineup!  Then we would get Perk back late December or early January (at the earliest injuries always seem to last longer than they are predicted).  Haywood I feel would be to expensive, but I love that the C's are looking at him.

Best case scenario for me would be

David Lee feels disrespected by how he's been treated by NY and signs with one of it's chief rivals for the MLE, in the hopes of kicking their brains in 4 times a year + the playoffs and crush all hopes of a title for whoever they buy.

Trade Sheed's contract for anything out of Golden St. At this point I don't care who. Randolph, Morrow, Azubuike, Biedrins, Turiaf, Gadzuric, pick one Nellie, I don't care which one,LET'S GO ALREADY!!

Shaq or Brad signs for the vet min 1yr to get a ring

Re-sign Nate & Tony, Paul & Ray

And    LET'S GET IT ON!!

Why would David Lee hate the Knicks that much?  He's a young player and he's done nothing but have fun and not try on defense the last few years.

So far I think we've seen that players aren't going to be taking paycuts to 'win.'  Huge, bloated, ridiculous contracts are obviously available and every free agent will hold out as long as possible to try and get one.

Dave might hold a grudge that they haven't taken his skill seriously. From day 1, they have tried to put him in trades, they've been reluctant to give him any security in any previous contracts.

As far as his defense goes, he's never been asked to play it, except for the 1-2 years under Isiah. BTW, I believe they made the playoffs 1 of those years.

I don't think we can get Miller. The Nicks are going to make a big play for him once they strike out in the LBJ sweepstakes. He will be overpaid.

Morrow may be an option with the MLE. I would still like to see us acquire Haywood and Marvin Williams. I think we would have to deplete our roster by throwing in BBD or picks to make a swap with GS for Morrow/Turiaf and/or Wright or Randolph.

I would too, but I really don't think that is realistic.  We would have to land Haywood with just the MLE and he is going to get more than that in this market. I really really want those two players though lol.

Sheldon Williams shouldn't be in any future discussions regarding the C's.  He had a one year deal and now he's gone.

I doubt Lee would give up $25 Million (the difference between the MLE and his probable contract, around 11 Mil x by 5 years) just for a grudge.
