Interesting.

Doc comes back and now Phil.  Any corelation?  Was he trying to one up Doc?

I'm curious, did he agree to a paycut?

Why would he care about what Doc is doing?

The only waay that Docs return weighed in on Phil's decision is that he decided to wait for a day or two before announcing his decision.  That way, he'd figure more prominently in the news.

Well isn't there some speculation that for whatever reason, Phil Jackson doesn't like Doc?  I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of undertone like that in this decision.

A lot of people can't stand. His ego is  almost as big as Kobe's, and that's big.  But at this point he has absolutely nothing to prove and some minor dispute with Doc is not what will motivate him. Mu guess is that the jerk just want another year in the spotlights.

Alright, I was hoping he'd come back.  I doubt Doc's decision played any part in Jackson's, but I hope that we can whoop him right into retirement by the end of next year.  We were reffed right out of Game 7 and he knows it - although several other factors contributed to our defeat (however, none was larger than the part played by the officials, aside from Perk's injury, perhaps).  Wouldn't it be cool if we became the first team to win the title after losing Game 1 to Jackson (thus destroying his 47-0 playoff record after winning Game 1 - the accomplishment that was wrestled away from us this past year by a certain group of individuals), losing Game 3 in the 2-3-2 format, and then won Games 6 and 7 on the road?  That would be epic.  Too bad it'll never happen.
