Glad to hear.  Morrow is on the list of wings I want the C's to look at.

In the WEEI interview Ainge said that we needed shooting, so it's no surprise to hear that we have interest in Morrow, Redick, and Miller. I haven't heard anything on Korver...yet.

Where is Tanguay's "gut" when we need it?

I think we'd all love to have him. He'd be a tremendous fit, and Golden State has some serious $$$ problems so they might not match.

Hmmmmm, a S&T of Morrow + Turiaf for Sheed's contract?
(Cs get Morrow, who they want, and Turiaf to backup Perk; GSW gets rid of Turiaf's contract, so they don't "lose Morrow for nothing")

Any player who can make it on my fantasy team is a player I'd welcome to our team  ::)

But again, just like every other player, they're gonna ask and probably get waaaay more money than they deserve.  So it's up to the Celtics to decide if they want to probably overpay for this guy.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
I would love to have him, I think he is young enough to learn from Ray and eventually supplant him.

This is what the great Celtics teams of the past did, they would have the vets mentor the young similar players and that's how they maintained their winning ways.

I would do a Sheed for Turiaf and Morrow deal. Or I would sign Morrow to most if not all of the MLE.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

What about Steve Novak from the Clippers. isn't he a pretty good 3 point shooter and probably would come cheaper.

I'm wondering if he's on the radar "in the event" we can't land a Morrow, Reddick, Morrow level shooter...

  • 'Cause there ain't no fours!
I know about his three-point prowess, but how's his defense?  His build looks like he could be a great one-on-one defender, but you can't really tell much from Golden State who avoids defense like the plague.

You read my mind. But Morrow is likely worth more than this when you consider the amount Turiaf makes. Could just s&t Morrow for Sheed and a 2nd round pick and / or cash. Or maybe Morrow & Wright for Sheed and a 1st?

Not everyone gets more than they deserve. A lot of guys aren't able to get much in free agency. There are so many posts assuming everyone will end up overpaid but that isn't true.
