Sorry about posting a new topic that is paul pierce related..
With pierce opting out, our current cap will be $35-38mm (depending on wallace buyout) committed for next season.

Correct me if I am wrong....
Can't we sign a FA @15 per year (5yr 75 million deal) and resign pp and ray allen over the cap due to the fact we can re-sign our own FA irregardless of our salary cap? If so, if we are willing to spend $85-90mm in player salary, that's roughly 55 million...

with 55 to play with...
1. 15 to bosh (or boozer/amare)
2. 6 to brad miller
3. 14 to pp
4. 10 to ray
5. 10 to the rest of rosters

some salary cap expert pls let me know if this wet dream is doable!!!

Can't be done. Because of cap holds.

You're not the only one. We've all have similar suggestions. Maybe there could be a loophole to make it happen.
