Stephen A. Smith of the Philadelphia Inquirer says multiple sources have told him that LeBron James and Chris Bosh will join Dwyane Wade in Miami.

Smith made the claim Monday morning on The Dan Patrick Show.

He told Patrick that it's "highly likely" that James and Bosh will sign with the Heat as free agents.

Isn't "crazy, loud, opinionated man" one of Adam Sandler's ideas for a Halloween costume?

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Lol, Steven A was the first guy that came to mind with that description. Anyways I don't believe. Lebron won't go anywhere where he's not the clear cut number 1 player. Wade probably feels he should be clear cut top dog too.

If this is legit, then a dynasty is in the making.  I actually think Lebron, Wade, and Bosh would work better then Lebron and Rose in Chicago.

And ya know, as a basketball fan, I'd love to see it.  Cause its not like we can say "uh oh, the celtics chances are now shot for a title" cause lets face it, it was shot at the end of game 7, regardless of how this offseason went.

It'd be the biggest spectacle SINCE the first year of Ray, KG, and Pierce were together.  Other arenas were sold out when we came to them because people just wanted to witness it.  Same exact thing would happen if these three got together.

See, I like Chicago better because Noah is exactly the kind of ultra-role player that a superstar-driven squad needs.  He's like the rich man's Anderson Varajeo, or Kendrick Perkins.  Rebounds, plays D, always plays hard.

I know there are questions in Chicago about Rose, but really - if Rose doesn't work out, Chicago could get a lot of value for him in a trade.  I personally think Rose/LeBron would be fine together.  Add on Bosh and either Deng on the bench - or, use Deng in a S&T for LeBron or Bosh, which should leave enough remaining cap space for Joe Johnson (or at least either Ray Allen or Mike Miller).

You imagine?

Derrick Rose
Joe Johnson (or Ray)
LeBron
Chris Bosh
Noah

Like you WOULDN'T watch those guys every time they were on.  As a Celtics fan, that lineup would suck to have to match up against; as an NBA fan, I kinda want that to happen.

I actually think the celtics big three winning in 2008 had a big influence on these guys this summer. They saw that it can work, and that everyone gets more attention, and that it may be the only way for them to win a few rings. Before that, the consensus was that each guy had to be great enough to lead his team to a title.

Yeah, it'd be a pretty nasty squad. Holley was saying this morning that The New York Times has Bron heading to Chi-town too.

Whatever happens sounds like it will be history making.  I think the Wade-LeBron-Bosh would have potential to dominate for many years.

I still think the Chicago squad is potentially better, just because they already have a good point guard and a perfect center for that team.  They'd just need some three-point shooters and a bench.  Miami would still need another big man and maybe a point.
