And, of course, we drafted basically a worse version of Rondo. Not sure how that makes any sense.

Size has nothing to do with rebounding. The argument can be made that "undersized" Big Baby was our best offensive rebounder. Also the best rebounder in the game, Dennis Rodman, was 6'7". Charles Barkley who is somewhere around 6'4" was a decent rebounder too. These may be exceptions to the rule and I get the point you are trying to make, however size doesn't necessarily coincide with rebounding skills.

First, there's no point in drafting a "rebounder" if the rebounder won't ever get off the bench.

Second, if Kendrick Perkins had played, it likely would've been a different story.  

He'll be back next year.  

There's also other ways to get rebounding.  Now that Bradley seems to take care of the backup PG spot, they can focus their energy on the wing and center spot.

It's not that the current guys on the team can't rebound, it's more like they don't rebound.

If Rondo at 6'1 can grab 18 rebounds in a game, then the rest of the guys can def grab at least 5 rebounds a game.

Good point.  Isn't this what we've all been pining for as the backup? 

Also, the problem with most backups for Rondo was that we could never find someone talented enough to come because he wouldn't want to be limited to 10 mpg behind Rondo.  With Bradley, he can play those 10 mpg and if he proves himself, he can play 10 more next to Rondo.

who is out there??

Big Z, Brad Miller, Jermaine O'Neal, Ben Wallace, and Nazr Mohammed.  All are older.  However, Perk will be back.  Sign 1 or 2 of those guys and bring back Shelden.  Play Shelden if need be until Perk comes back.  Once Perk's back, there's no reason why we can't play KG 30 mpg, Perk 28, BBD 25, and one of those vets 10 mpg.  That covers all 96 minutes.

A rookie big drafted at 19 or later is not going to make an impact in his first year on a contender. I don't understand why folks were looking at this draft pick as a big man band aid finder.

Lets judge this draft when we see these guys play. And lets judge the offseason when the offseason is done. Its way too early for doom and gloom/

How about we lost game 7 because Perk was injured and KG didn't rebound? Rebounding wasn't an issue in the play-offs until game 7. We drafted the best player available GET OVER IT!!!
