Stanley Robinson can literally jump over our floor-bound #52 Harangody, to make an athletic Magic team even more so. Add to that the rumors of the Magic pursuing deals to bring CP3 and Deng to Disney http://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=1023405 is making me sick.

C'mon, Danny, get involved in some of this action, not only to improve us , but to thwart the Magic quest for eastern dominance. Imagine a line-up of CP3, Deng, Lewis, Ryan Anderson and Howard. That's a nightmare lineup for a long time.

You need to do more than just Sheed for Beasley, but at least that would be a start. DO SOMETHING!!

Gonna go out on a limb and say that neither Harangody or Robinson will play significant roles for either team next season.

Still, I agree that the Harangody pick makes little to no sense, especially with super athletic and at least somewhat skilled players still on the board.  Heck, if Danny wanted to take a non-athlete with size and scoring ability, he could have taken Omar Samhan.

Think about it; the Hornets are willing to move Chris Paul in part to offload Okafor's contract.

Most likely it will be Darren Collison who they package with Okafor to sweeten the deal.  I wouldn't be surprised if some team takes that bait.  I actually thought the Hornets selected Aldrich at 11 because they were planning to trade Okafor, but it turns out they traded his rights to OKC. 

Still, I expect Okafor and Collison to be playing for some other team next season if at all possible.

Magic will never do anything as long as that Goon Dwight Howard stays down there except injure contending teams like the Celtics and as long as they have Wince Carter as the shot-hogging winger and perennial bronze medalist Rashard Lewis

The only two players I respect on that team are Jameer Nelson and JJ Redick.

The real worry is the Bulls with 30 million in cap space and Tom THibadeaux as HC.

I bet Gerald Green could jump over Harangody too but that doesn't mean I would want him on the team. Everyone is placing too much value in the 52nd pick of the draft.

It's way easier on the soul to get excited about something as inconsequential as the 52nd pick than it is to be negative about it. I predict Luke Harangody will be the next Manu!
