There's a guy in my neighborhood that wears camo a lot. He's a nice guy but he does'nt hunt and has never served in any kind of armed forces. I always thought it was kind of funny to wear camo just for the style. Does anyone else think they'd feel funny wearing camouflage if you have'nt served in the military and are'nt hiding from something?

He probably is hiding something.  I wouldn't trust a guy like that as far as I could throw him.

I once went to a club in Frederick Maryland a few years back called Exhale. (I think) I had on a camouflage hat because I got it free at the muffler shop and they told me I couldn't wear it in.

Thought that was weird.

If someone talks to me while wearing camo, I look around pretending I hear something but cant see them. The reaction is 50/50.

Oh wells. If they can't take a joke..

It's illegal to wear anything camo in Barbados.  I thought that was weird.  Maybe the government is concerned that if people start wearing camo they will start getting the urge to stage a coup.

I don't like to rag on people for their choice of style because there's no right or wrong when it comes to that kind of stuff and there's something kind of adolescent about it.  That being said, I can't get down with camo gear personally and don't really get why someone would wear it in the middle of a city like Boston, but to each their own.

This thread reminds me of how a few years ago camo really became the flavor, and everywhere around Boston you could see Mike Timlin inspired camo red sox hats on everybody.  It seemed like people thought they were being patriotic for wearing a red sox camo hat, which kinda makes me feel like this:
