True stiffs had some sort of talent.  They had to be big, strong, and slow.  They could be thrown on the court to push guys and foul hard.  They were just painfully slow.

Only that doesn't seem to be the obvious criteria...

Anyway, Will Perdue was far softer than Mikki.

Jordan once famously taunted Will that he was too soft to be named after a Big Ten school and called him Will Vanderbilt.

So this guy wasn't even drafted.  Seems like it'd be worthwhile to have him play on the summer league team and give him a shot, seeing as the Celtics don't have even have a starting center for next season at the moment.  I mean, at best he'd be the 5th big, but at least he could be a body.

Um, who are you talking about?  The title of the thread doesn't indicate a particular player, nor is there a picture/write up of the player you're talking about.

Regardless, I'd like to see Charles Garcia, Samardo Samuels, Omar Samhan, Tyler Smith, Sylven Landesberg, and Michael Washington on our Summer League team - if we have one this year.  Of those mentioned, Garcia is the guy I want.

Get some of these guys in for Summer League -- particularly Harris, Landesberg and Blakely, followed by Thompson, Forston,  and Parakhouski.

If Blakely could be tought to play the 3, he's an intreguing project...
