Snakes On a Plane, Waterworld, and as someone said (tp) the king of all Anaconda
Snakes on a Plane is a fail because it tried way too hard to BE a "so bad it's great" kind of movie. I'll argue that a movie can't qualify as a "SBIG" flick unless the director and other key people went into the film with full intentions of making a good movie. Tongue-in-cheek = disqualification.
Isn't the greatest truly bad movie of all time "Showgirls"? Elizabeth Berkley? The worst, least erotic sex scene of all time (what looked like her having a seizure in the pool)? The ridiculous plot?
true, but Showgirls is more "so bad, it's just plain awful"
Well, it's *required* that you be drinking while watching it.
Amazon Women On The Moon; a DUMB comedy that knows it's a dumb comedy, so it kind of violates my rule of what can and cannot be considered a "SBIG" flick. Still, it's pretty horrible and yet I'm never *not* watching it if it's on.
EDIT: Any decent Cheech & Chong movie, as well. They're all bad, but Up In Smoke is pretty [dang] funny even though it's about as dumb as it gets.
