Memphis.

and did espn explain why danny would want to take on two medicore rookies and double the financial burden of the team instead of one?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Memphis i believe.

Is this just speculation, or is there anything behind it?

Like, is this Jalen Rose just spouting off, or is this coming from Chad Ford or Andy Katz?

Meh.

If that's true, Danny must believe there's no real difference between the players in the late teens and in the late 20's.  In other words, after the first 10-12 players it's all a crap shoot.  Chances we end up with at least one non-contributor are pretty high.

Yeah, it was by Andy Katz. He said that we had two offers on the table. The other was with NJ for the 27th and 31st.

It's important to note that the 31st would be in 2nd round so the contract demands would be significantly less.

Ugh. Just what we need are roster spots that won't contribute next year.

Just saw this also on the RealGM boards. Sounds like these are two firm offers.

#25 and #28
or
#27 and #31

#31 allows for a non-guaranteed contract, so the Nets' offer is not that far off from Memphis'.

Or West and Allen.

Or Gomes and Powe.

I'd be bummed if we missed out on a talent like Eric Bledsoe, but it could really work out depending on who is off the board.

I could get behind a deal that lands us Pondexter and Gallon, for instance, at #27 and  #31

We've add a wing and a big, plus we still have the MLE to get another vet and re-sign TA and Nate....that could work out for us.

Gallon's overweight and a major character risk. I'll pass on him in the first round, for sure.

How about a TA and Powe? I'll settle for that.

Gallon is a poor mans Big Al. Take it from a Sooner, he's not worth a pick. He would have returned to college had he had not been caught cheating.

well #31 is in the second round, so I think that's not a bad gamble given Gallon's size and how good the Cs have become at developing bigs.
