it won't be all smiles and laughs when his kids are old enough to understand what their dad did to that poor girl in Colorado

no kidding..it sickens me the fact that  the media can put this behind him and make him out to be this great guy again....and the wife im sorry but shes scum too for not standing up for herself and saying see ya .... but the fact that the media looks past this and not what Tiger did baffles me... what tiger did, regardless of how many chicks he did  they all consented to it, its childsplay compared to rape. Tiger is an angel compared to Kobe

I don't know about all that stuff but anybody who wears a shirt with a picture of himself on it has a massive ego.  Says alot about what he thinks of himself. He should have brought David Stearn and 3 refs with him also. All though he did bring Gasol with him so that was nice to see. oops that was Goofy my bad.

I hate Kobe as much as anyone but if anyone remembers the story it sounded as though it was consentual and she was trying to get money out of Kobe.  It went to trial and he wasn't convicted.  Yes, same as O.J. but this girl definitely had a ton of issues and lacked credibility.

If he did it though it's an entirely different story.

Kobe's statement after the sex assault charges were dropped.

"First, I want to apologize directly to the young woman involved in this incident. I want to apologize to her for my behavior that night and for the consequences she has suffered in the past year. Although this year has been incredibly difficult for me personally, I can only imagine the pain she has had to endure. I also want to apologize to her parents and family members, and to my family and friends and supporters, and to the citizens of Eagle, Colo.
I also want to make it clear that I do not question the motives of this young woman. No money has been paid to this woman. She has agreed that this statement will not be used against me in the civil case. Although I truly believe this encounter between us was consensual, I recognize now that she did not and does not view this incident the same way I did. After months of reviewing discovery, listening to her attorney, and even her testimony in person, I now understand how she feels that she did not consent to this encounter.
I issue this statement today fully aware that while one part of this case ends today, another remains. I understand that the civil case against me will go forward. That part of this case will be decided by and between the parties directly involved in the incident and will no longer be a financial or emotional drain on the citizens of the state of Colorado."

Sounds innocent???

Well, as much as I can't Stand Kobe Bryant, to me he is over this. He served his time under the microscope for his actions back then.

To me, I cannot call him a Convict. Not anymore. I truly believes he has learned from that period of his life. It's been what 7 years now?

Now, I will call him a Grade A Choker (6 for 24 in a Clinching Game 7.....A "Throw my teammates under the Bus" Leader......a "Hold my Team Hostage with my Trade Demands in 2007" Leader....

But not a Convict.

+1 Classic Kobe. I don't know how he's able to walk with that massive ego of his.

He is at best case an adulterer that engaged in highly questionable sex. He is no hero or champion. He is good at playing basketball but does not deserve the adoration that he gets. He should be treated like Barry Bonds was.
