Assuming we keep our starting five, BBD and say…TA.

What 2 affordable free agents do you think we could lure in?

My vote goes to TMac and BMiller.

I really think TMac should be affordable at this stage of his career – or at least I hope so – and BMiller would be a great backup big on any contending team. No Idea how affordable he can be thou.

Granted, I think the Cs will have a lot of competition trying to go after these two, but considering their age and somewhat low-profile, we might have a chance of these two being overlooked by other teams….

Any ideas?

No thanks.

Especially that creepy, dirty, cheap shot artist Miller. And NO, he's not the type that "you love him when he's on your team".

TMac is done and while Brad Miller is a good player, vet and backup he's a cheap shot jerk.
no

It's a shame about McGrady.  Such a talent lost.  BMiller can get a job with the team washing the players cars in the lot during practice. Maybe he can move up to detailing the cars after a year or two.

I can never root for Miller.

Who would have thought just a few years ago that an 2010-11 Grant Hill would be more valuable than the 2010-11 Tracy McGrady?

Such an amazing descent.  I think Danny would pass as he has tried pulling great players back up from the grave in the past with little success (Gugliotta, Ratliff, Marbury etc.)

All that being said I wouldn't mind taking a flyer on him if he would play for the vet minimum.

T-Mac is a good choice in my opinion, i think he still got maybe 70-80% left in the tank...

Why is he so bad in your opinions? well maybe cuz the dude is in constant injury.

Why do Ray Allen sometimes have off shooting nights, fatigue? or just he don't have the touch like he did a few nights back...both?

well won't this solve the problem, Ray can get hot shooting and if he starting sucking or get tired, you have T-Mac, admit it, T-Mac right now is still very capable of 20 pt game.

Both guy used to or is still playing for Doc. If Doc can monitor Allen and T-Mac well, then I'm up for signing T-Mac. T-Mac used to play for Doc in Orlando.

Let's speculate here that Doc doesnt leave. T-Mac would be an upgrade over House, even House has left. Nate can focus more on being the backup pg

Rondo/Nate
Ray/T-Mac
Pierce/TA
KG/BBD/Sheed?/19th?
Perkins/19th?/Sheed

T-Mac will fit very well with this team, i still remember that 13 pts in 33 seconds game he did against the spurs. And hes a type of player similar to KG, hes a team player

Last time I saw Brad Miller play, he was getting completely abused.  He's never been an outstanding defensive player, but he looked absurdly slow.

If Michael Finley - possesser of a jump shot we desperately needed - couldn't get on the court because of his artrocious D, not sure that bringing in Brad Miller at the 5 is going to work either.

Down with T-mac but it sounds like he wants to play for LA.

I posted a note from Bleacher Report about this yesterday. He's going to try to jump on their train for a championship. We must stop it from happening.

Asking for Tmac to sign with one of our competitors is ignorant talk. No matter how old the guy is, he's a scorer. Sorry but just like the OP said, Ray has off nights and it's bound to be due to age and fatigue. Tmac as a number 3 or 4 option would be amazing. I would take Tmac if he signed for the vet minimum only b/c I'd rather use the MLE on a younger player like Morrow or Warrick.
Can't stop, Rondo!
