The following is a list of possible realistic Free Agents for the 2009-2010 NBA Off Season. There are some Free Agents left off the list who are too crappy or too expensive.

Players in bold are interesting and worth a look over IMO.

Atlanta: Joe Smith

Charlotte: Raymond Felton, Theo Ratliff (round 2? LOL)

Chicago: Brad Miller, Tim Thomas, Hakim Warrick, Joe Alexander, Acie Law, Janero Pargo, Ronald Murray, Devin Brown

Cleveland: Shaq, Big Z

Dallas: Brendan Haywood

Denver: Anthony Carter, Joe Graham, Johan Petro

Detroit: Kwame Brown, Ben Wallace

Golden State: Raja Bell, CJ Watson, Devean George, Anthony Tolliver

Houston: Louis Scola, Hilton Armstrong

Indiana: Earl Watson, Travis Deiner, Luther Head

LA Clippers: Steve Blake, Drew Gooden, Travis Outlaw, Rasul Butler, Craig Smith, Ricky Davis

Miami: Udonis Haslem, Dorrell Wright

Milwaukee: Luke Rindour, Kurt Thomas, Primo Brezec, Jerry Stackhouse

Minny: Darko

New Jersey: Tony Battie

New Orleans: Aaron Gray, Ike Diogu

New York: T-Mac, Al Harrington, Chris Duhon, Eddie House, Jonathan Bender

OKC: Shaun Livingston

ORL: Anthony Johnson, Jason Williams

Philly: Allen Iverson

Phoenix: Louis Amundson

Sacramento: Kenny Thomas, Ime Udoka, Desmond Mason

San Antonio: Roger Mason, Matt Bonner, Keith Bogans

Toronto: Rasho, Amir Johnson, Antoine Wright

Utah: Kyle Korver, Wesley Mathews

Washington: Mike Miller, Fabrico Oberto, Earl Boykins, James Singleton

Some of these Free Agents are coming off big deals & may not be willing to sign on the cheap or for the Veteran's Minimum.

I personally wouldn't mind targeting some of the younger "bigs" (Warrick, Gray, Diogu, Amir Johnson) who haven't gotten a lot of playing time in the league. Also, wouldn't mind targeting some veterans (Scola, Miller, Harrington, Gooden, Kurt Thomas) who are looking for a chance for championship glory.

There are also some athletic guys like Outlaw and Dorrell Wright who are worth a gamble for any route: rebuilding and championship push.

I assume Scola will not be available.

There are alot of guys that look good this offseason for the MLE or perhaps even the minimum if they are only interested in chasing a title. So far my wish liest is looking like:

Tyrus Thomas
Josh Childress
Travis Outlaw
Corey Brewer
JJ Reddick
Hakim Warrick
Mike Miller
Kelena Azubuike
Josh Howard
Amir Johnson
Al Harrington
Kyle Korver
Anthony Morrow
Jermaine O'Neal
Shaq O'neal
John Salmons
....as well as several more

Totally forgot about Ben Wallace.  Still a killer rebounder and a decent defender.

Forgot about Dorell Wright too. Low-impact guy but a good shooter and he tries hard.

TP, thanks for putting this together.

I really like what Udonis Haslem brings.  But he'll probably be too expensive as a backup, and I don't like the idea of him and BBD off the bench together (too small).  But I really like him.

Will Tyrus Thomas really be attainable?  I assume he'd require the full MLE.  It would be quite something to have him come off the bench, and I love the idea of Clifford Ray and KG teaching Thomas.  If Sheed decides not to retire, I could see a S&T of Thomas to Boston for Sheed + future 1st (Larry Brown apparently likes Sheed).

Tyrus Thomas is not leaving Charlotte unless we overpay. The front court of him and BBD may have been effective in college but this is the pros and we need a big over 6'9.

I think Amir Johnson will be in green next year. Danny wanted to draft this kid but couldn't get out of a promise to Oriene Greene. Him and BBD could be a great back up front court going into the future.

I also want Travis Outlaw. Anyone else I could care less about.

He won't be. I think it's a given that he'll sign a multi-year contract and likely get David West type money.

Ben Wallace is one of the best rebounders this league has ever seen. And he still has it, i think that he could be big on this team. (i thought this last year as well.)
