We all know Ray & Sheed are as good as gone, and Jordan doesn't want to go over the cap by resigning Tyson Chandler+Tyrus Thomas

after we got sheed and there were rumblings about him being traded (along with ray allen & rondo over chemistry issues) because they weren't producing before the trade deadline, Larry Brown wanted sheed because he likes his big men (that's where the dj augistin rumor came into play)

rebounding help from the perimeter is soley on rondo and ray did his best in game 7, to no avail ..

Gerald Wallace is
1) 1st team defense
2) best rebounding guard/forward/blocker in the league not named Lebron
 
Tyson Chandler would just give us a legitimate 7-footer to contend with the length of gasol and bynum (where we had a clear disadvantage, they had an uncanny amount of second chance points off of offensive rebounds which killed us)

JUST THINK, IF WE HAD GRABBED 3 DEFENSIVE REBOUNDS BEFORE GASOL/ARTEST/ODOM GOT TO THEM FOR OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS (which accounted for 6 points) WE WOULD HAVE BANNER 18 RIGHT NOW


Ray Allen+Rasheed+ #19 pick (24.5 mil) for Tyson Chandler+Gerald Wallace (21.2 mil)

(Rasheed is going to retire anyway so we might as well give Jordan the #19 to save face)

Next is Glen Davis+Marquis Daniels (4.9 mil) with cash considerations to the Clippers for Outlaw+Steve Blake (7.5)

Glen Davis has proven to be a 20 pts 7 rebounds guy when starting & taking on their salaries only helps the Clippers lower there cap in hopes of landing Lebron 

we get the serviceable point guard we need in Steve Blake & the taller+athletic wing in Outlaw

with our connections to Larry Bird, i say McHale, after he becomes our next coach, will talk to Bird with Ainge and land Roy Hibbert+Tyler Hansborough for Perkins straight up because we need length, the only thing that killed us in the finals was the ability to contend with their length on the defensive glass, perk at 6'10 is relatively smaller than Hibbert at 7'2" who is a better rebounder & scorer than perk (and can contain Dwight "Elbow" Howard just as good as perk)

the only bad side is that we'd probably have to take on A.J. Price's contract (or Brandon Rush to make it work out)

Perkins (4.5 mil) for Roy Hibbert (1.5) + Tyler Hansborough (1. and or A.J. Price/Brandon Rush

i see pierce signing for the vet minimum, just a gut feeling, which allows us to resign robinson

all in all this would be our best shot at banner 18 which keeps us young at the same time for a 10 year window since Hansborough/Hibbert/Wallace/Chandler are all young & Hansborough has the potential to be a stud like Bosh
