I implore fellow C fans to not hang your heads. Tough end to the season but this team showed it's true colors this post season.

What a ride this season has been and I can truly say the C's left everything on the court tonight. Thank You C's for giving us fans everything you had.

I love the C's with all my heart. They didn't do anything spectacular IMO. They did what I knew they could do all along. I expected them to get here.

But the showed their true colors in the 4th quarter in this game. They need to learn how to finish games. Can't say I'm proud of this. Sorry.

Great run. Ultimately, it's a failure because everything short  of a championship was a failure.

But I'm just proud of the team. Fought till the end. Did their best without Perk. Rondo hit a crazy three when we thought it was over... if he got that steal on the next play we could have tied it. Didn't happen but shows you how resilient this team is. Ultimately we got killed by our "all season long" flaws : lack of rebounding and blown leads.

I'm really proud of them, it eases the loss a bit but the future looks blur. Don't know if this group will be the same next year.

And I'm especially proud of Sheed for his great game, he stepped up big time from beginning till end.

Thanks Celtics.

I got something to say to the Celtics that sounds almost like Thank you but doesn't start with the word Thank.

They gift wrapped it to the Lakers. I hope we trade off all these old sissies and get someone who will actually be grateful to play in the Finals.

P.S I have destroyed half the furniture in my home and if I thought it would make me feel better I would set my house on fire and curse Jesus all night long and I might still.

The future honestly doesn't look bright but it is what it is. They lost a close series to the Lakers. If this game was in Boston the C's are probably champs right now.

Precisely. This was their game to lose. They had it. I could see them hoisting the trophy. But then the Celtics worst enemy, the 4th quarter, came and there it went. I literally saw it slipping away.

You know what? [pee] off. This team came from nowhere and got to game 7. Am I miserable that they lost? Of course. Am I angry about the FT's in the 4th? Yes. But am I going to give the middle finger to this team that played their hearts out, that took it to the last minute of the season? Heck no. Don't be so fickle. Don't throw your team under the bus. Grow up. Attitudes like that really annoy me.

Thank you Celtics for this amazing season. Am I happy how it ended? Of course not. But I love this team for going so hard to the end.

What a run it was. Even though they can only blame themselves for not winning it all this time around, I cannot really be mad at them. Not after all those times they showed up in this playoff run. Remember, we still beat Cleveland, we beat Orlando, we made Kobe look ordinary today. You just don't do that if you're not a great, great team. We lost a championship game by four points. Most of all, we shut up all the doubters and haters out there. BE PROUD. I know I am.

They did NOT come from nowhere. They thought they could sleepwalk during the regular season- lose to the New Jerseys and the Milwaukees and the Washingtons and get swept by the Hawks and just show up all of a sudden and play.

That cost them home court advantage. Had they been focused all season they would have had home court advantage or had they not fallen asleep even for just the one quarter tonight they wouldn't have coughed this thing up.

I don't thank half-assers and that is exactly what they did all season long and for a big part of the playoffs. The refs played a role but so did falling asleep at the wheel.

tough loss but i really wouldn't know what to do without my celtics; without sports, period. THANK YOU, CELTICS. they turned on the switch in the playoffs but just simply ran out of gas at the end. we could talk about game 6 and how they laid down, but they did give it their all this whole series. again, thank you.

If this team fought hard all year for home court advantage they wouldn't have sniffed the finals. This team needed to rest, get healthy for a playoff run. Doc recognized that. If you can't I don't know what to say. They got to 2 minutes left in game 7 of the NBA finals. How much further can you go? If they had burned guys out in the regular season they don't make it to this point.

But call the team that played their hearts out "sissies." Call out the team that went  7 games in the NBA finals. Question that they aren't grateful to be there? Give me  a break. Thank you C's for a great season. To doubt their heart after this season is b.s. straight up. You really think they didn't want to be there? Didn't want to win? They were 2 minutes away. Grow up.
