What do you guys think? I think if Bynum is guarding him he should throw himself on the block and show us all those "kung fu post moves" he's been saving. Can't see Bynums knee being able to keep up with it.

That forces Odom in early, and I don't think he'll have fun against either Sheed or KG.

I would like to see him take Bynum, Gasol or Odom down low.

Both Wallace and KG.

I don't care if he is on the block.  In fact, if he is playing with the starters, I prefer to have him stretching the floor opening up space for Rondo and Pierce.  What I would like to see though is him either making his 3's, or not taking them.

Ultimately though, his value on offense is by standing there, and pulling his man away from the hoop.  What they really need from him is on the defensive end.

Yes. Inside early, outside late with Rasheed tonight.

I disagree with him stretching the floor. I think he has a field day on the block if he stays down there, and they keep feeding him until they stop it. His distance shooting helps, but I think it lets Bynum off a little easier b/c theres a greater chance he misses.

I agree completely with you, Chris.  Sheed's main value is on defense.  On offense, he will post sometimes but his main roll will be to stand or pick wherever is needed to spread the floor for whatever play is called.

What are you basing it on that he would have a field day on the low post?  He can shoot over smaller guys down there, but against big guys, he is average at best on the low post.  I would much rather see the ball in the hands of the other 4 starters, all of whom are much more dangerous offensively.

I think Sheed has shown a pretty good variety of post moves throughout the year. Most predominantly a pretty effective baseline spin. I'd imagine anyone with the ability to pump fake the ball would be pretty effective against a one legged Bynum

in order for him to be effective on the post, we must first be able to pass it to him on the post, which none of the guards were able to do tuesday. Once him of KG get it on the post, we also must have good enough spacing to give them room to work. I think having Sheed in instead of Perkins will make a huge difference in that respect, and if Rondo hits a few jumpers early then things will be wide open for our big guys.

Rondo hitting jumpers would help, but I don't see it coming. I think more often than not he'll be involved in screens, I REALLY hope that what he does is during the pick and rolls he's not involved with, he sets a screen for the guy setting the pick. It should allow for Pierce or Allen to throw it to him, which would allow him to swing it to Sheed or KG.

Sheed’s offensive game really flourished on the block, but him being outside is actually better for everyone else offensively.

I think we’ll mix it up.

"You know, I don't show my whole package during the beginning of the season. If you do, then that's what's going to be in the scouting report on me. So now, come money time, it'll say that I'm going to go to the turnaround. Yeah, I'm going to turn around, but I'm going to go by you left, by you right, come with the jump hook. I told my buddy to look at it like a kung fu teacher. I might teach you the lotus and I might teach you the tiger, but I'm not going to teach you the crane, because the crane can beat both of them."

I prefer KG on the block and Sheed stretching the floor. I think Sheed will be ready tonight.

Keys to victory:

1) REAL Celtics defense

2) More energy- get the 50/50 balls

3) Stops lead to transition hoops

4) Rebound, Rebound, Rebound!!!!

5) The Big 4 all have big games.
