Some of you will remember the play mentioned.  ;D

Starts with:
Post subject: NBA Officiating Office issues an apology

The NBA Officiating Office released the following apology following Game 2 of the NBA FInals between the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers:

Vladimir Radmanovic did indeed travel late in the 4th quarter. We apologize for those may have been affected.

Commissioner Stern was quoted as saying, "This is not the European League. We only allow 1 and a half steps in this league. Unless, of course, you are a bona fide superstar. Our apology is issued due to Vladimir Radmanovic failing to meet the requirements to take 3 steps in plain view of all 3 referees."

When asked how many times Kobe Bryant will get to the line in game 3, Stern would only smile slyly. The line in Vegas immediately went up by 5 points.

Wow...  I don't support trolling, but I just don't know what to say.  Many of those fans are, erm, intellectually challenged.  More than 50% of them thought that was a real news story.  Wow.

I would argue there is a huge difference between trolling and a well timed joke.  :)

Context helps here.  This was right after game 2 where the Lakers took 10 free throws while  the Celtics took 38. Remember the "who is Powe?" by Phil?

It also came after the the NBA league office admitted that the final play of Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs should’ve been called a foul against Derek Fisher.

The Laker fans were screaming for the league to apologize for the free throw discrepancy.

Lol, half the guys there have since edited there posts.  :P

In my opinion, this blog doesn't have enough use of the phrase "Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline., dude." Step it up lakers.topbuzz.com

I thought there would be a lot more arrogance over there. When I read that stuff, it's ignorance mixed with anxiety.
