Now let Bryant get smack in the face then it would of been a tech and a suspension. It was a clear foul by Hacktest but the refs had their minds made up to push for a game seven...This is what Davey Stern wants.

Game 3- Puts his knee into Rays thigh a game after ray went off for 8 3's


Game 6- gives a dirty elbow

All of these plays were clearly on purpose. I made a thread about fouling Artest hard in game 4 and I still believe you have to send a message by doing this.

Send Shelden Williams out there and lay out Artest , get him all riled up he is likely to get thrown out leaving Luke Walton on PP or Shannon Brown /vujacic on Ray

Artest should be out for game 7, like KG was out for game 2 against Miami. That wasn't part of a basketball play, he threw up a forearm shiver and hit Rondo - who was defenseless and airborne - in the face.

That's an intentional 'bo to the face for those keeping score at home.

BTW - knowing Rondo, I highly doubt he actually had 17 stitches. He's known for some of these straight guy / sarcastic acts.

Artest is a thug.  There was also the hard foul on KG in Game 5 that lead to Rondo's T, plus him being a (insert expletive) when he was on the FT line and Pierce wanted to walk in front of him to get to into position.

Plus he starts brawls, tosses TV monitors and probably would wind up in a psych ward if professionally evaluated.

Just a wonderful guy and a tribute to everything decent that the NBA stands for.....

Doc should been taking his shots at the refs. Eat that fine because you are telling the truth about the obvious mugging the fakers are doing. Especially Artest, whats the different between Hacktest and Sheed. They are quick to blow the whisle on Sheed when he guarding Gasoft, but Paul can't get a call on Hacktest..........Now Why Is That....huh David?

Thank goodness (and Doc) we managed to get to the playoffs healthy. When I think of the hits we've taken along the away, we'd have been down for the count already if we started out with injuries. I'm glad Rondo is OK though minus the stitches. I worry about concussions now every time someone catches an elbow.

One guy in stitches, another with a destroyed knee and NEITHER of those plays had fouls called. But every time Kobe even looked like he was going to drive to the basket they couldn't blow the whistle fast enough.
