I think it's important we have a thread to thank Perk for his contributions not only this year, but his whole career. Hard to believe he came into the league a chubby, shy, raw and uncoordinated 18 year old and see what he became. I was convinced he would be nothing more than a 10-12 minute per backup center. But he got himself into good shape, developed an attitude and became our enforcer. And it all happened because of how dedicated he was to become a pro. He could have easily faded away like Marcus Banks, Kedrick Brown and Joe Forte, but he worked his butt off and was a starting center for a (maybe two?) championship squads. I think he plays a huge part in setting the tone of what you want your franchise to be. Dude is a bad*ss, and I think we're going to win game 7 for him.

What more can be said, Perkins is the man.  Thanks for everything Perk.

Keep in mind that this might be Doc's last season, so I'm sure the team will want to send him off with the best way possible.

Come on C's, do it for Perk and Doc!

TP, the Celtics can win without Perk, it will be hard, but they can... and they should win for Perk, he deserves to get his second rings from his team. The Celtics must play as a team, believe in each other and play Together (thanks, Doc).

You know it seems that throughout history whenever a team loses a major contributor, whether it be injury or suspension, they always win that game for him.

Don't forget Thibadeau, either

He can certainly be frustrating to watch at times but he's always poured it out on the court.  A tough and gritty player and I'm glad he's in green.

He'll be missed tomorrow night.

Thanks Perk for your solid play all season and for playing hurt in these past playoff games.

If only we had closed out Cleveland and Orlando faster, we might have saved some mileage, wear and tear on your aching knees....maybe it would have strong enough to withstand Bynum's collision.

Get well soon Perk so you can beast intensely next season.

Thanks, Perk.  We wouldn't be here without you.

A rare smile from Perk

Hopefully we'll see that smile tomorrow after the C's lift that trophy for the 18th time  ;)

If we take it home tomorrow, I've got a feeling that Perk is going to be the first one to hold the trophy.

Seeing Perk smile is like seeing your sister naked isn't it? Just..... awkward.

Thanks Perk for all you did this season and remember that you have one of the best seats in the house on the sidelines to watch the Celtics win the Championship!  ;)
